Prof. Poulikakos was the lead organizer of Symposium EL12: Metamaterials Innovation in Photonics, Acoustics, Fluidics and Thermal Sciences at the 2023 MRS Fall Meeting and Exhibit. In collaboration with Symposia EL08 and EL06 they organized joint keynote sessions with stellar speakers and world leaders in the field. Keynotes were held by Prof. Albert Polman, Prof. Alexandra Boltasseva, Prof. Harry Atwater, Prof. Jennifer Dionne, Prof. Federico Capasso, Prof. Julia Greer, and Prof. Peter Nordlander.
