Anna is one of five students selected to be a UC LEADS (Leadership Excellence through Advanced Degree) and STARS (San Diego Summer Training Academy for Research Success) scholar.
The LEADS program’s goal is to provide undergraduate educational experiences that will prepare them to assume leadership positions in the industry, government, public service, and academia after completing a doctoral STEM degree.
In addition, she has been concurrently named a STARS scholar this summer to participate informative transfer and graduate school preparation workshops, and educational, cultural, and social activities.
