2023 Packard Fellowship for Science and Engineering
The David and Lucile Packard Foundation has named Poulikakos Lab as a 2023 Packard Fellow for Science and Engineering. A special thanks to Jiuk who contributed awesome preliminary data to the proposal and Julia who is continuing research in this direction! This grant will support our development of a new class of nanomaterials with acoustoplasmonic properties.

Undergraduate researcher Anna traveled to the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire for the National Conference for Undergraduate Research (NCUR) 2023. She presented her research on Amyloid Beta for Alzheimer’s Detection through the Human Eye to a variety of disciplines.

Paula recognized as Optica Women Scholar
Paula is one of 20 women selected to be an Optica Women Scholar from an international pool of applicants. Optica states that the program “provides visibility, community, and resources for women in optics and photonics via financial support, professional development, and establishing a global network as they enter the field”.
