Dr. Zaid Haddadin successfully defends his PhD thesis!
Huge congratulations to Dr. Zaid Haddadin for successfully defending his PhD thesis! Zaid is the first PhD student in the group to graduate and he was part of the lab since the very first day (even a bit before!). Lisa presented the lab’s Beckman Young Investigator work at the 2025 Beckman Symposium. She met with several wonderful colleagues including fellow Mechanical Engineers shown here: Prof. Tania Morimoto from our own UCSD’s MAE Department and Prof. Margaret Byron from Penn State!
